Kirtan with Madhava Naidoo
With Madhava Naidoo

What is Kirtan
Kirtan is a call and response of singing Mantras out loud, which is used as a meditation practice in Bhakti Yoga, Yoga of Devotion.
Congregational singing Mantras is bringing peace to the mind and deeply felt in the heart. Live playing instruments are used to guide this yoga practice. Often people are amazed and sometimes even in tears of something they feel deep inside the heart. It’s that deep connection within, where only Love is residing.
You will for sure feel empowered by emotions after this special Kirtan session!
Who is Madhava?
Madhava, born in Mauritius is a full-time Kirtan Yoga practitioner. At just the age of 18, he began his journey in the world of kirtan.
He traveled to India and stayed in Vrindavan, where he played 6-hours kirtan per day for 5 years in a row.
He played with George Harrison from the Beatles and other famous Kirtanyas. Now based in Switzerland,
Madhava travels extensively over the World, enlivening audiences with the power of devotional kirtan.
He fuses his Mauritian roots with the influences of India to produce a unique style of kirtan,
but one in which the main ingredient is the heartfelt Bhakti.
